Project Experience

Emergency response in environmentally sensitive areas at Hurlburt Field in Florida following Hurricanes Ivan and Dennis. Emergency permitting, debris removal, and design and construction of marina facility, docks, boat wash, boardwalk, and nature trail and repair and upgrade of waste water treatment plant. Emergency recovery following Hurricane Katrina at Keesler Air Force Base facilities in Louisiana under austere conditions, including damage assessment, mold and asbestos abatement, demolition, debris removal, and design and reconstruction of facilities.

Pilot-scale project along the Coeur d'Alene River in northern Idaho to test five treatment methods for stabilizing river banks and restoring natural vegetation buffers. All work was performed during the winter from the river using heavy equipment that was transported on and operated from barges to minimize river bank erosion.

Recreational facility site demolition, campsite reconstruction, and sewage treatment system construction at the Riley Creek Campground near Laclede, ID. Project site was located in a very environmentally sensitive area and required extreme care during all phases to minimize disturbance to nesting eagles, area vegetation, and existing structures.

Decommissioned more than 22 miles of forest road near Darby, MT, that included drainage restoration and site rehabilitation to speed the recovery of the site to pre-road conditions.  Additional work included the upgrade and gravel surfacing of 8 miles of forest road.

Civil construction work including land clearing, excavation, and backfilling for utilidors and building foundations; road construction; excavation of 3,300 feet of communication duct bank; curb and gutter construction; erosion control; and landscaping at the Jr. NCO Housing, Fort Wainwright, AK.
